If the company has a chart on their website, indicating what they pay-out, study it carefully. Is there a minimum order of 10-50 ounces to receive the amount they are quoting? In our store, the average customer sells 38 pennyweights of gold, which equates to 1.9 ounces. With this in mind, ask the merchant what you will pay for smaller orders. You may be very surprised. In short, education and comparison are the key to making the right decision, no matter what you are buying. Unfortunately, there are some merchants that don't seem to understand the concept of fair play.
